The lecturer, Dr. (Taif Aeid Faisal) – responsible for the Graduate Follow-up Unit – held a workshop entitled (English language skills) within the program of the Graduate Follow-up Unit in the department on Monday, 22/4/2024 at 8:00 pm via Google Meet, the workshop discussed the importance of the English language in the scientific and practical engineering side and the most important skills that the engineer needs in the labor market. She touched on the most important sources of knowledge required for the English language in engineering, including reading complex engineering diagrams, scientific sources, marketing brochures, maintenance files, and the use of laser and medical devices. She emphasized the importance of the language in communicating with global technical support teams and job colleagues in a detailed and productive manner. Finally, she pointed out the most important areas in marketing and sales methods and the importance of attending engineering and scientific conferences that would develop the English language to a level that would elevate the engineer to an international level.
