The Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics awarded a master’s degree to a student (Rasul Sabah Rasheed) majoring in Optoelectronics Engineering for her thesis titled:
(A High Sensitive Chemiresistive-gassensor on Assembly Grown Doped GaN Porous Layern)
On Thursday, 11/23/2023, the thesis aims to manufacture sensors to effectively monitor and measure gases. It discussed how the sensors were fabricated by depositing gallium nitride films and examining the samples by X-ray as well as FESEM. The results showed the role of materials in changing the sensitivity of the gas sensors. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. (Abdul Hadi Kadhim Jidran) as chairman, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. (Mustafa Riad Muhammad) and Prof. Dr. (Shams Basil Ali), and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. (Ali Abdul Khaliq Abdul Hadi) and Prof. Dr. (Makram Abdul Muttalib Fakhry)
