The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the Technological University held a celebration of the International Women’s Day on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the conference hall of the Computer Engineering Department in the presence of the President of the Technological University and a number of heads of scientific and administrative departments and a number of female teachers and affiliates of the university.
The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem and the recitation of verses from the wise book and the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs of Iraq, and the President of the University delivered a speech on the occasion, congratulating the women of the university on their day, and directed the presentation of a book of thanks and appreciation from the university presidency, thanking their dedication and work at the university.
The university president honored a group of distinguished women at the university with an appreciation certificate, including female teachers and employees for their efforts and high sincerity in serving our beloved university, including the members of our department, namely: Assistant teacher (Lina Aqeel Salman) and physics assistant (Susan Hassan Salman) in addition to honoring assistant professor Dr. (Shams Basil Ali / member of the Women’s Affairs Unit Liaison).
