
Master’s Student Discussion ( Questan Haider Hassan )
The Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics awarded a master’s degree to a student (Questan Haider Hassan) majoring in Optoelectronics Engineering for her thesis titled:
(Modification of Conventional Photoanode with Oxide Nanoparticles)
On Wednesday, 11/22/2023, this research dealt with the preparation of four dye-sensitive photodetectors, which used titanium dioxide as a photoelectrode and titanium as a counter electrode, and used the organic dye rhodamine as a photosensitizer.
X-ray investigations showed that the prepared films had a polycrystalline structure. The investigations showed that as the grafting ratio of the photoanode with graphene concentration increases, the absorbance increases and the intensity increases at wavelengths of 350 and 750 nm.
The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. (Sabah Anwar Salman) as chairman and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. (Ali Abdul Khaliq Abdul Hadi) and Dr. (Nibras Essam Mohammed) and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. (Abdulhadi Kadhim Jadran) and Prof. (Farah Tariq Mohammed Nouri).
