The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics held a workshop entitled (Radioactive Reflections: Revealing the impact of the surrounding environment on women’s beauty) on Sunday, 5/11/2023, which was delivered by assist.lec. (May Abdulkareem Abduljabar ), an instructor in our department, in the presence of Dr. (Shams Basil Ali) – responsible for the Women’s Empowerment Unit and a number of women affiliated with the department, in which she discussed the dangers of environmental pollution to which women are exposed throughout the year and the real impact of these factors on premature aging of the skin and beauty of women. They also discussed the steps that must be adopted to reduce the impact of external factors on women’s physical and psychological health and ways to care for the internal and external beauty of women, and at the end of the workshop, an appreciation certificate was awarded to the lecturer by Professor (Dr. Jassim Kadim Hmood) and symbolic gifts were distributed to the attending ladies.
