An Online Workshop Titled: (Online Learning / Udemy as a Model)

The Graduate Follow-Up Unit in the Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering conducted an online workshop titled “Online Learning / Udemy as a Model” at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, via the Google Meet platform. The workshop was delivered by the unit’s head, Dr. Taif Aied Faisal.

The workshop discussed the importance and purpose of education, comparing traditional learning methods with online learning methods. It also highlighted the significance of identifying the skills required for online learning.

Participants created accounts on Udemy, explored the platform, and learned how to register for both paid and free courses. The process for obtaining certificates from the platform was explained. The workshop also reviewed key topics available on Udemy and demonstrated how to filter search results to find the most suitable courses.
