Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. (Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban) and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the university held a celebration to honor a number of distinguished research and teaching professors for the year 2023-2024 with shields and certificates of appreciation in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Affairs. Administrative Prof. Dr. (Farhad Muhammad Othman) and a number of department heads, in addition to the celebrated researchers.
The honoring ceremonies began with the President of the University of Technology honoring the distinguished teaching staff according to the nominations of department heads for the year 2023, where Professor Dr. Mohammed Jalal Abdul Razzaq was honored with the Distinguished Teaching Shield for the Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering and Professor Dr. Makram Abdul Mutaleb Fakhri
was honored with the highest Distinguished Teaching Shield. Publication of scientific research and the teacher (Zahraa Sabeeh Qasim) received a certificate of appreciation for the highest evaluation of scientific research at the university level according to the database (wos).
