On 4/30/2024, the first round of the graduation projects competition for the fourth stage students for the academic year 2024/2023 was held at the Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics in the presence of a number of professors and students of the department, and the graduation projects were discussed by the university jury headed by Prof. Ali Jabbar Salem, scientific assistant of the Department of Communications, Prof. Muhammad Abdul Sattar Ibrahim from the Department of Applied Sciences and Prof. Rahman Ismail Mahdi from the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center, and the project (Design and Implementation a smart Fire Alarm based on Microcontroller and GSM) was nominated to the final competitive stage Microcontroller and GSM) submitted by students Mohammed Mustafa Kamel and Ghassak Latif Abboud under the supervision of Dr. Haider Hassan Mohammed to the final competitive stage, which is scheduled for next Monday, May 6
